It is currently 1 AM of 14th June in Malaysia now as I begin to type this post. I spent nearly the entire day at Michelle's mother's BC-L workshop. Stayed up till now to work on Photoshop, along with my intuos4 medium. To me, the graphic tablet is very useful because of its pen pressure sensor. I just completed one photoshop document (PSD) and still working on another one.

Pumping back life into my blog. I am truly sorry to my visitors that I have not been posting and updating. I hope that I have not chased away and disappointed them. I cannot be blamed though, I have other things I enjoy doing other than blogging... It has been nearly two months since I last posted. It is the midterm break now, so I am more relaxed though I still have tuition and homework.

Watched Terminator: Salvation at GSC in Pavilion yesterday but to be truthful, I prefer the prequels. I did some shopping for electronics at epicenter. On Saturday, I entered a swimming competition and won the 3rd place for freestyle and breaststroke. My disadvantage was my diving. I took around 43 seconds to swim a lap in the Olympic-sized pool for freestyle, but did not inquire about my breaststroke.

Went to Genting Highlands last week but could not enjoy myself for it was a school week and I had a lot of homework. I had to finish my English book report there because my printer at home was broken (A printer was provided in the Maxim suite). I had to get a new printer because there were no spare parts for my old printer. Food up in Genting was expensive. Lunch summed up to RM 1,000...... I returned to Kuala Lumpur around 11 o'clock Sunday night and had to wake up at 3 the next morning to complete my Humanities population density poster for South Africa.

I have no idea of what to type about now... So I might as well publish my post now.

Three Month...

5 days ago, a new member entered my family. It was a day to remember (4th of April 2009)... The new addition was... Birkin the Doberman! He is only three month-old this month. He is my first ever dog which I can call mine, since I had two Golden Retriever before which belonged to my father's friend. We were taking care of them for him while he was overseas.

The other time was the other Doberman, which we found. We took him in and sent him to the hospital for medical check-ups and treatments. It cost a lot, more than a thousand ringgit. But in the end, we returned the dog to its legal owner, who so happened to be poor.

The 2nd term of my 7th term took a turn at the junction and out of my life. Now I am enjoying my term break, with a lot of tuition homework before me...... I have been longing for this holiday for weeks. I am going to make the best use out of this holiday since I screwed up the last one badly. I shall not reveal what I shall be doing this holiday. It'll remain a secret for now.

Cheng Yue celebrated her birthday last weekend. Yen managed to survive the party and go home dry. Some people were trying to drown him... Many games were organised for the party and the prizes were albums. I won three albums but gave away one to Michelle and the rest to my uncle since he makes better use of them.

Benchmarking tests took place this week. We had English, Science and Maths tests. The Haiku presentation began and ended this week too. I presented my Haiku through a website. The URL for it is www.haikubank.webs.com. This is the first time I have created a site for the scratch using HTML. Nearly all the pictures on the site has been editted.

Reformation...

Upgraded my RAM at Low Yat Plaza several days ago. It wasn't very expensive. The RAM module chip was RM 60+ and labor for helping me install it cost RM 20.The shopkeeper encouraged me to reformat my laptop since I modified it to an extent which slowed down my computer. And so I took his advice and now my computer is running at a much higher speed. My RAM is now 2.5 GB. 500 MB was built into the Motherboard. There was only one RAM memory slot, not including the one built on the Motherboard. My computer is not very new.

I have almost reinstalled all my software which I had before reformation. I made a list of them before reformatting. Anyway I finally installed Adobe CS4 onto my computer. I bought the DVDs for them at Ampang Point. One DVD cost RM 15, therefore I had to spend RM 30 since I bought Adobe CS4 Master Collection and there were 2 DVDs.

Purchasing the DVDs was actually my last resort. I downloaded the installers through torrent but most of them failed when I ran them. Those which worked mostly failed after a few days. For those who face the same problem as me, run Adobe CS4 or CS3 Clean-up.

Recently I started disliking PowerPoint presentations, especially those low quality and wordy ones. Currently thinking of new ideas of presenting... Lol... I am refraining from using ideas I have used before....

The carnival this year was not that fun for me this year. I wouldn't go into details of what I did at the carnival, just the outline. I began with the Horror House with Yen, Roland, a guy from PYP 6 and Zain (if I wasn't mistaken). Yen and Roland were soaked wet after the water war. Yen and I then went for the rock climbing. Both of us failed miserably.

After that, I went for the Horror House another two more times. The third time was sponsored by Marcus Ng. Thank you ^^. Instead of us screaming, the ghosts were the one who screamed... This year, I wasn't that lucky because I only won two prizes out of the five raffle tickets I bought. I won an exercise mat and a ticket to Aquaria.

There was an Ice Kacang vendor at the entrance. I bought two bowls from it. On my second bowl, I was very lucky to find a part of the traditional Ice Kacang machine in my bowl... It was made of metal and was shaped like a guitar with its end like a screw. Lol...

It's now 10.28 and I just completed my first Adobe Photoshop editted picture. It's promoting Bleach:

I am satisfied with it though since this is my first attempt. I have no idea how to colour it though since I got this from the manga. I had to crop it and rotate it as well. And of course, insert the text and keeping on resizing it. It shows Ichigo with his mask on and Ulquiorra in his second release form.

I have no idea why but almost all the text on my blog have been italicized. I have my tuition homework due tomorrow morning, so I better get going.

Oozing...

A hell lot of things occured this week. MYP 7 had two pizza parties two days straight for buying lots of coupons for the carnival. It was mostly thanks to Marcus, Zain and Celine Yap, so their portion was the largest. Projects and assignments have also decreased dramatically to our relief.

We had culinary for our CCA today and we were assigned to bring fruits to make juice. I brought carrots, oranges and lime. We started off with washing the fruits and apparatuses. After that, we chopped up the fruits. While Benjamin Lim and I were chopping the carrots, Yen decided to cut his passion fruits. It slipped and... Yen's finger so happened to be holding it, so... he cut his finger. He did not seem to be in pain... Lol...

When he went down to the main office, Benjamin Lim and I continued to chop the fruits up. Just when we were done with the carrots and oranges, we decided to continue with the passion fruits. And due to my idiocy, it slipped too and there went my finger. Blood oozed out continuous but for some unusual reasons, it did not hurt at all. I was, in fact, laughing my head off...

I washed my wound and went down to the main office where I met Yen. The juice in the end wasn't that bad. It was actually quite appetizing. I still have the bandage on with me now as I type out this post. Anyway, I have to rush some homework now, so I will end this post here.

It is now around 11.24 pm on 20 February 09 and I have taken the liberty of updating my 'dead' blog. I have heard that several people have been visiting my blog, looking for a new post but I have let them down for the past couple of months, so you have my apologies.

Recently, I have been having projects to complete and as some of you know, I have been conducting tests on blog templates. Click on the 'About Me' link above to find out more. A new page would appear so go under my blog and select on the tests (including 'Endless misery') to view the templates. Post a comment to this post on the best template and why. But if you think that my current template is good enough, you can mention about it too.

My cousins wedding went well and so did the trip to Taman Negara. Since pictures speak louder than words, I have decided to add some videos and pictures to this post. My phone faced several technical difficulties in the middle of the trip. The camera of my phone could only take videos and when I tried to take photos, it would come out pitch black sometimes.

This year's Chinese New Year wasn't as interesting as the others years before. I went back to Batu Pahat to celebrate it with my grandparents and relatives. The amount in my red packets have also decreased tremendously. Maybe due to recession. Anyway, I got myself a 500 GB External Hard disk for my laptop which only has up to 62.4 GB of memory in its Local Disk (C:) and 9.99 GB for Dick (D:). The disadvantage of my 500 GB external hard disk is that it has to be plugged into a powerpoint when working. My intention was actually to get a 1 TB one but the 500 GB one, so happened to be on Sales.

My school, Fairview International school iB has made several modifications. First off, we have moved to the new campus, which is located at Wangsa Maju. Middle school students can now bring their mobile phones and have their own lockers. The middle school is made up of Year 7 to 9. It is compulsory for the middle year students to bring their laptops. On the first week of the new semester, when I went down to collect my I.C., after school, I came back to see that the car window have been cracked but fortunately, not shattered... A good example of how this bloody world has evolved into...

Before I end this post, I would like to share with everyone this video I took at the Carefour in Wangsa Maju. I can swear that I did not set this plot up and that I so happened to pass by during then. The video shows cockroaches on the potato wedges which have been left in the open and are for sale. For everyone's information, at the rice section in the Wangsa Maju branch, there are fleas and rats inhabiting there... And at the fruits and vegetable sections, they are infested with cockroaches.

Another week...

The holidays are almost over. Another week before the school restarts... and I haven't done a lot. Over the holidays very few people have been blogging as far as I know. Perhaps most of us are busy enjoying ourselves and I am no exception.

I started off the holidays by going to Penang with my grandparents, aunt and cousin, just like how I have explained in my earlier post. We arrived at my uncle's house in Penang around 5 o'clock in the evening and looked around the house. Though it was not very big, it was well-organised and neat. We spent three days there, eating, sleeping and going around places. There is something I must point out to everyone. The phone signal there was very poor... At least, Maxis 3G's was.

We then returned to Kuala Lumpur to have lunch with my other aunt and then took off for Bukit Tinggi the next day. It was there where we realized my uncle had chicken pox... At Bukit Tinggi, we stayed at Colmar Tropicale, the Fuchsia section. The furniture there was old and run down... It was a good thing they did not charge us since my mother had vouchers.When we were there, we went to Japanese Tea Garden, which was not really interesting since I have been to Japan... Anyway, the price of a teabag at the bakery in the hotel was ridiculously expensive! RM 8 for a teabag! So my mother bought one and used it for four cups of hot water... The next day, we checked out around 12 in the afternoon.

This coming Sunday I would be going to Batu Pahat for my paternal's cousin's wedding and going to Taman Negara at Pahang this Monday. I am looking forward to it!

Today I woke up very late, around 11 in the morning since I stayed up till 2 o'clock last night to complete my tuition homework. I couldn't finish it though. I still have two essays, a spelling and two dictations!

Well, I went to the JPN today to register for my I.C. I went to the Wangsa Maju branch. When I got there, my mom filled up the form and photostatted my birth certificate and her I.C. at a nearby shop. We handed the form and the copies to the woman at the counter and she began entering the data into the computer. She also scanned my left and right thumb.

Suddenly, she told that she entered the data wrongly... She filled my mother's name into the father column and my father's name into the mother's column... Careless... Furthermore, she said that she can't change the data immediately, so she can't receive the RM 11 charge. By the way, here's a tip for Malaysians who haven't reached the age of 12. If your 12th birthday has just passed, go to the JPN within 31 days to get your I.C. free of charge. I was late, so I had to pay the fine... Be smart and don't let them cheat your money!

Anyway, I just came back from Penang and Bukit Tinggi but I would not blog about it yet because I have to finish my tuition homework! So I'll delay it to the next post.

Finally, after months of schooling, the holidays have arrived... I am finally able to sleep well, to spend more time on the computer, to recuperate...

To me, I did okay for all my subjects but still have room to improve (as usual). I have also switched back to my Dopod and have to purchase a new battery soon because the old one keeps on running out quickly. A bottle of Xylitol chewing gum is also on my shopping list. I am running out of it! When it comes to chewing gum, I usually only take Xylitol. I am not addicted to it but I just like to chew while I do my work. I can chew just a single gum for an entire day. I don't mind it losing its flavour...

Last Wednesday, I did something that I had never done before on a school night. I stayed up till 3 in the morning and woke up around 6.30! Just 3 and a half hours of sleep, in order to finish up my Humanities video presentation... Too dedicated to my work.... Furthermore, I helped the other group...

Today was the last day of term 1 as well as Desi's last day in Fairview. We had quite a lot of food. There were pizzas, curry chicken, noodles and cakes. Some of the food were sponsored by Cheng Yue while others were from Mr. Hernando. We, MYP 7, each received a goody bag, after Santa Claus, who was a teacher-in-disguise, came to our class. There were also performances. One of them was by people from Myammar who came to give Fairview a visit.

There was also a present exchanging session. I gave a natural scent candle to Woan Jinq, who claimed it as her second Christmas present, and received Jay Chou's limited edition Capricorn album from Cheng Yue.

When I got home from school, which was around 2.30, I was welcomed by my grandparents, my aunt and my cousin, who dropped by to tag along with us to go to Penang tomorrow. Well, at least I would have something to blog about......

Going Mad...

I have to admit it that I am getting a little stressed out now... Just this morning, I had piles of projects dumped onto my shoulders. I now have to make a 3D Model of the Respiratory system, a poster to complete, a Maths project and an ICT assessment, which is due tomorrow and I have not studied.

In addition, I have my tuition work and my tutor is one of those who would punish you for not completing his work. His punishment have now stretched out to an extend of vocal and physical. He teaches me Maths, Science, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday! To top that he gives me dictation and spelling!

Now for the more relaxing part of the day, the Student Councilors got their badges at assembly (I received one). Furthermore, Zain and Cathy celebrated their birthdays today, though Zain's on the 9th and Cathy's the 8th. We (the class of MYP 7) sang the birthday song in class and ate the cake in the canteen. It was then when faces were covered in cream and cake... Fortunately, no cake ended up on my face.

Yesterday, I had my morning tuition as usual, stayed at home and cut my hair at around 6 o'clock. After having my dinner (Japanese cuisine), I headed over to KL Convention Center where I sat in a theater, watching 'The Awakening', a combination of performance performed by physically challenged people. Some of the performers were from China, while other were locals (Malaysians). The best thing about the show was that it was free of charge since the school bared the cost. How generous is that! Especially when a ticket costs around RM 60!

I guess this would be all for today since I still have things to do......

Fun... I Don't Think So...

Last Friday, the most unexpected thing occurred... It was the last two periods and the Muslims were supposed to have Agama, while those who were not were supposed to have Library period, which basically means free time. Suddenly, Mr. Seamus of www.seamusgoh.blogspot.com,our ICT teacher stuck his head in the classroom and told us to stay in. Several minutes later, Mr. Michael came in and told us to begin eating.

We came out of our classroom and along with the MYP 8 and 9, we dug ourselves into the boxes of pizzas and bottles of carbonated drinks. There were almost 12 boxes of Dominos pizzas, some of them were extra large, while others were large. For the drinks, there were almost 6 bottles of Sprite and another 6 of Coke.

There was this friend of mine, whose name is Xiang Yen, who was dared to finish a whole bottle of Sprite. Furthermore, they were those large ones. He was about to finish when he puked into the waste bin of our class. It did not really stink but the sight of it was gross. And he vomit more than once. According to him, he could see his undigested spaghetti and slices of pizzas.

In the end, I found out that the party was because of the launching of the AxisInternational YouTube channel. By the way, I had 2 slices of pizzas and a cup of Sprite. I did not have the appetite.

Yesterday, I went back to SJK (C) Chung Kwok, my 母校. Go to www.nciku.com and look it up if you do not know what it means. They were hosting their annual carnival. When I arrived, I was surprised by how much the school has upgraded. I bought RM 30 of coupons and had trouble spending them. This year I did not go for the games. I had an ice kacang, cups of orange juice and something called Magic Ice, which is basically drinking ice. I also had two Currrypuffs and bought 6 lucky draw tickets.

And of course, I went to 6Jasmine, which is the class where most of the people I know are in. They were hosting two games. One of them was that you had to catch guppies from a pool of water and the other was that you had to knock down cans with tennis balls. When I entered the class, the only one who approached me was Veronnie, who gave me some sweets. The rest of the time I stood them listenning to people talking people my back and watching other people playing. They said that I was as quiet as ever in Mandarin of course... I went home at around 11 o'clock since I was getting bored.

Again- for the 12th time, I am celebrating my birthday, which basically means that I am finally 12...... There was no big party or anything as fancy as that, just a cake, Chocolate Banana from Secret Recipe. The same cake I have been having for the past several years...... Only celebrated it with my mother and brother, my father is in Bangkok.

I did not get a lot of birthday present as to now. Only a Gundam Astraea Type- F.

The past few weeks have been very busy, but I am finally to able to settle down now. The active projects I have now are the Humanities Video Presentation and my Superhero for Art. Just early today, I had my Science test and yesterday, my Maths test.

I am sorry that I could not blog earlier. I was searching for a template and this is what is got. I hope that you like it because editing it was a big problem, esspecially for someone like me who has very basic knowledge on HTML. You should visit my friend's blog, underthestars-tvxqforever.blogspot.com. She did a very good job with her blog and influencing me to listen to DBSK's songs.

Recently, our class had a presentation for ICT. It was individual work. We had to nominate someone as TIME Magazine Person of the Year 2008. Some of them were on Thomas Edison, Digimon and Barack Obama. The one I found most meaningful was my friend's, Benjamin's who did his on his parents. I did mine on Jay Chou.

Finally, after almost one year of inactivity, I am finally back in the blogging society. What a pain! All lot of things have changed since I last published a post.

I am now in Fairview iB and is trying very hard to cope with the program. For those who do not know what is iB, it is a system that does not want you to study from the textbook, instead they provide you with computers with a 150GB hard disk! They want us to research for our own information for information keeps on updating. Furthermore, they do not believe in exams, our report card by the end of every term is based on our projects.

By the way, I just bought a Nohohon. They are those head bobbing toys which are powered by solar panels. Mine is a spiritual stone Nohohon. It has been said to increase health luck. Well, that is all for today. I have to complete my project which is due tomorrow.
